Insignificant debates about Reality TV

We have all talked about Reality TV and have come to the some conclusions as reality shows are worthless, people who watch these kind of shows are useless etc. However, I partly agree with this consensus. First of all, people should consider that why they are caring about this situation. It's just a way for producers to earn more money and for doing that they must make shows be watched. For this purpose, producers add them more fights, more strange things that we can not see in daily life routinely. There's nothing wrong with that. In this case, prime issue is about audience. They are exaggerating the situations. Normally, people should watch these shows to enjoy their free time not to find an idol for themselves. If they don't like reality shows, they have remote controller, don't they ?

  1. True - people have free will and usually noone forces anybody to watch these shows - so it's up to the individual to decide whether they want to watch these programs or not, and I guess there is nothing wrong with that as long as they know why they are doing so - it seems a bit too harsh to say that people who watch these shows are useless, but it still seems worrying / a pity to see that these programs are watched by the masses for extended periods of time (like a whole evening of watching "Var mısın Yok musun?...why would anyone care however much money that person will walk out of there in the end?)
